General Questions

What is Healing Grace Homes?

Healing Grace Homes is a structured, supportive housing program designed for individuals in recovery. We provide a safe, drug- and alcohol-free environment to help residents transition from treatment to independent living.

Who is eligible to live at Healing Grace Homes?

Anyone who has not been convicted of a violent crime and that is committed to maintaining sobriety through actively participating in recovery is welcome to apply. Our program is ideal for individuals who have completed a treatment program and need a stable, supportive environment.

How long can I stay at Healing Grace Homes?

The length of stay varies depending on individual needs. Many residents stay for six months to a year, while others may stay longer. We encourage residents to remain until they feel confident in their ability to maintain sobriety independently.

Housing & Accomodations

What are the living arrangements like?

Our homes offer shared and private rooms in a structured setting. Each house is fully furnished, including a kitchen, laundry facilities, and common areas for residents to connect and support one another.

Are the homes co-ed?

No, each home is designated specifically for either men or women. This ensures a comfortable and supportive environment tailored to residents’ needs.

Are meals provided?

No, residents are responsible for their own meals. However, we encourage communal meals and often have shared cooking nights to foster a sense of community.

Can I have visitors?

Yes, visitors are allowed during designated hours. However, all guests must adhere to house rules, and overnight stays are not permitted.

Rules & Responsibilities

What are the house rules?

Residents must maintain sobriety, follow curfews, attend house meetings, contribute to household chores, and participate in recovery-based activities. A full list of rules will be provided upon move-in.

What happens if a resident relapses?

We have a zero-tolerance policy for drug and alcohol use on the premises. If a resident relapses, they may be asked to leave but will be provided with resources to seek further treatment.

Are there curfews?

Yes, we have curfews in place to promote accountability and structure. The exact times vary by location and are communicated upon move-in.

Cost & Payments

How much does it cost to live at Healing Grace Homes?

The cost varies based on room type and location. Rent includes utilities, WiFi, and access to all house amenities. Please contact us for current pricing.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance for rent, but some residents may be eligible for financial assistance programs. We recommend checking with your insurance provider about possible reimbursements for outpatient recovery services.

Recovery Support

Do I need to attend 12-step meetings?

While 12-step meetings are strongly encouraged, we recognize that different paths to recovery exist. We support various recovery programs, including SMART Recovery and Refuge Recovery.

Are there house meetings?

Yes, weekly house meetings are required. These meetings help residents stay accountable, discuss house matters, and support each other in recovery.

Can I work or go to school while living at Healing Grace Homes?

Absolutely! We encourage residents to work, volunteer, or attend school as part of their recovery journey. Maintaining structure and routine is an important part of successful sober living.

Other Questions

Can I bring my pet?
